The song is a sign of era (AIDS era) and perhaps everything repeats under the sun – and yet another era to fear the illness (COVID this time). The song is an unapologetic rebel, refusal to love “in plastic”, refusal to stop loving organically. Well, its Mylene for you: take it or leave it 🙂 She risks to be misunderstood again and again (what else is new?) and yet says what she thinks and don’t we love her for that? Maybe, that is why the song is your favorite this January? 30 years later…
