Toi l ‘amour is a song # 5 from Mylene Farmer album Bleu Noir – the eighth studio album released 6 December 2010.

The lyrics for the song were written by Mylène Farmer. Music composed by Moby.

Possible influences for the texts are Pierre Reverdy and more precisely two poems from the collection The sleeping guitar (1919).

In One chance in two to be understood, Pierre Reverdy writes: “It is only half the sky and the other world / Who goes away” while Mylène writes in Toi amour: “And the another world is going away“.In Love in the shop: “Everything that happened slips into darkness” and in You we find love: “And the other world that goes / In the semi-darkness, footsteps slide'”.

Toi l’amour (like all Moby songs on the Bleu Noir album) was made from a model sent by Moby to Mylène.

All the instruments on the model are played by Moby himself.

We find Moby’s version of the song on his Innocents’ album released in September 2013 –  the song The Perfect Life (in duet with Wayne Coyne).

On November 19, 2010, posting on the ephemeral official site mylenefarmer-bleunoir.com (site on which every day a new info concerning the album Bleu Noir was unveiled) of an extract of the song Toi amour. We find You love in the fifth track on the album Bleu Noir available for download on November 29, 2010 then in physics on December 6, 2010
