The song is again in French-lish 😊 or Engl-ech 😊 Either way I love her mixing language especially my very favorites ones. Maybe one day she’ll throw some “ya tebya lublyu” to the mix…that’d be the day!

Get up Girl is a song from Mylène Farmer’s eleventh studio album, Désobéissance (2018).

On 19 January 2018, the single “Rolling Stone” was released and entered the French charts at number one. The video was directed by Carole Denis. A new album was announced for fall. On 22 June, a duet with LP, “N’oublie pas“, was released, also entering the French charts at number one. The song was co-written by LP, and the video, set in Iceland, was directed by Laurent Boutonnat

I don’t how about you, I wish I somehow have been there for her with chicken soup, compassion and care and maybe a story or two to entertain her curious mind…I wish I would support and nurture her through the tough times….

On the personal note, I absolutely adore her renewed sound, her overwhelming sensuality with her deep enveloping voice…I melt, I dissolve into her vibrations, into her feel, into her presence whispering into my ear. If I thought I loved her before, now I am nothing but the LOVE.

Hands down, nothing left of me.

As far as Get up girl, yes it’s my most used phrase with two school age girls in the house and myself who ironically happened to be a night owl and have to drag myself out of the bed every morning at 7 to get everyone ready. So yes again – it’s a story of my life as somehow most of Maylene’s’ songs are.
