Notably, he achieved commercial success with the instrumental hit “Song of Ocarina” (1991), a collaboration with Diego Modena that topped charts and sold over a million copies. Beyond performance, Audin has ventured into multimedia innovation, developing the “videocello” and founding the group MOVIESONIC, blending live music with real-time visual projections. His contributions extend to film, having worked on projects like the concert version of “Twin Peaks” music in collaboration with David Lynch.

Jean-Philippe Audin is known for his work on soundtracks for Lucy (2014), Hitman (2007) and The Science of Sleep (2006).

In a 2006 interview, Audin reflected on his initial collaboration with Farmer, noting that he was unfamiliar with her work prior to joining the tour. He was struck by the intensity and dedication of the production team, particularly during the filming of her first music video in challenging conditions.
