GHOSTS (HOW CAN I MOVE ON) duet with Muse

It is a very big surprise that Mylène has in store for us for the Friday, December 9, 2022 with the release of this duo.

Her twelfth studio album, L’Emprise was released just two weeks ago and is already marked by very large success since it ranked number 1 in France, Belgium Wallonia and Switzerland for its first week. It also achieved the best start of the year in pure sales for an album in France where it was certified gold within a few days.
And now is a new duet with Muse called Ghosts (How Can I Move On). And it is a beautiful song. The lyrics and music create a gorgeous bi-lingual ballad.

The song written and composed by Matthew Bellamy and which can be found on Muse’s album, Will Of The People released on August 26th.
In this new version, Mylène has adapted part of the text in French.

Mylène had confided her admiration for the Muse group: “Very recently, I went to see a Muse concert and he is an artist that I find absolutely extraordinary, even breathtaking. And, if I had a song to cover, that would be Guiding Light, which I find beautiful.”

Mylène was present on October 25 at the group’s concert at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. Muse is an English rock band from Teignmouth, Devon, formed in 1994. The band consists of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums).

Muse released their debut album, Showbiz, in 1999, showcasing Bellamy’s falsetto and a melancholic alternative rock style. Matthew James Bellamy (born 9 June 1978) is an English singer, musician, producer, and songwriter.
