Anecdote No19 : Le jeudi 16 décembre 2004 à 18H30, une cinquantaine de journalistes sont accueillis non loin des Champs-Elysées, aux salons France-Ameriques. Ils y retrouvent Mylène qui, accompagnée de son acolyte Laurent Boutonnat et de son producteur Thierry Suc, révèle qu’elle sortira un nouvel album courant 2005, intitulé « Avant que l’ombre… », et qu’elle remontera sur scène en janvier 2006.
Ce retour sera cependant marqué d’une particularité : Il ne serra pas question d’une tournée en France ni à l’étranger, mais d’une résidence à Bercy ! J’ajoute personnellement à ça qu’une vidéo est disponible sur YouTube où l’on peut voir des extraits de la conférence. Et un extrait a marqué mon attention.
Elle dit « Même si on fait un Bercy ou j’imagine un stade de France, pour ceux qui ont envie de le faire, on peut tout à fait crée une intimité dans une quelconque immensité. »-« Peut être pas au stade de France me dit Laurent (Rire) ». Si seulement elle savait où est ce qu’elle va se produire en 2009…😏.
Parlons maintenant d’un titre que Mylène devait chanté durant les 13 Bercy, au final seulement les deux premiers spectacles incluront le titre. Outre le fait que Mylène avait senti, lors des répétitions, qu’elle ne souhaitait pas particulièrement l’interpréter, elle était malade lors de cette série de concerts. Genre pour chanter correctement le titre:”Ainsi soit je…“, elle l’a remplacé par « L’autre » mais l’a quand même repris une dernière fois le 21 janvier.
D’autres changements ont modifié la setlists jusqu’à la dernière minute : « Je te rends ton amour », qui n’a pas été interprété lors de ces concerts, avait pourtant été répété à Bercy et devait figurer dans la première partie du show, juste avant le premier changement de costume de Mylène (Une indiscrétion provenant des fans qui ont réussi à pénétrer dans Bercy ou sont restés devant la salle pendant les répétitions…ils n’ont rien vu, mais tout entendu !)
Quant à « Déshabillez moi », il n’était pas prévu dans la setlist initiale. Enfin la chanson « Et pourtant… » aurait été envisagée, pour se voir finalement écartée. Voilà votre petit rendez vous du soir les z’amis,

On Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 6:30 pm, about fifty journalists were welcomed not far from the Champs-Elysées, at the France-Ameriques salons. They met Mylène who, accompanied by her colleague Laurent Boutonnat and her producer Thierry Suc, revealed that she would be releasing a new album in 2005, entitled “Avant que l’ombre…”, and that she would be back on stage in January 2006.
This return will be marked however of a particularity: It will not be question of a tour in France nor abroad, but of a residence in Bercy! I personally add to this that a video is available on YouTube where you can see excerpts of the conference. And one excerpt caught my attention. She says “Even if we do a Bercy or I imagine a stad de France, for those who want to do it, we can create an intimacy in any immensity». If only she knew where she will perform in 2009…😏.
Let’s talk now about a track that Mylène was supposed to sing during the 13 Bercy, in the end only the first two shows will include the track. Besides the fact that Mylène had felt, during the rehearsals, that she didn’t particularly want to perform it, she was sick during this series of concerts. Like to sing correctly the title: “Ainsi soit je…“, she replaced it by “L’autre” but still performed it one last time on January 21.
Other changes modified the setlist until the last minute: “Je te rends ton amour“, which was not performed during these concerts, had been rehearsed at Bercy and was supposed to be in the first part of the show, just before Mylène’s first costume change (an indiscretion coming from fans who managed to enter Bercy or stayed in front of the hall during the rehearsals…they didn’t see anything, but heard everything!)
As for “Déshabillez moi“, it was not in the initial setlist. Finally, the song “Et pourtant…” would have been considered, only to be discarded. Here is your little appointment of the evening, folks,
